It's what's inside that counts!

While wooden boats are beautiful to behold, in our modern times they need to be beautiful to inhabit as well.  This year the Wooden Boat Festival welcomes two master craftsmen all the way from Tasmania – Craig & Jack Howard.

Craig & Jack produce beautiful handcrafted Tasmanian timber furniture along with marine interiors to suit any vessel from the traditional to the most modern of sea crafts, using traditional tried and tested methods, handed down over 5 generations.

Along with traditional timbers, they are excited to bring their new product created in house; thick veneers, which make having the look and status of solid timber more affordable.  This new product will be at the festival, with matching leaves for sale.

There will be  a selection of Tasmanian special species timbers such as Huon pine, Blackwood, black heart sassafras, celery top pine,  with some unique display pieces for sale. Craig & Jack will be on-site all week-end to share their extensive knowledge and discuss custom designed pieces
